Management Team

Jeremy Kloiser-Jones, Founder & CEO
Jeremy has broad experience in senior roles with global investment banks (Lehman Brothers, JPMorgan, Banque AIG and Macquarie Group), with a focus on principal investing, PIPEs, corporate advisory, and convertible bonds. He has worked in Asia for most of his career. He is a graduate in Law and Economics from the University of Sydney, Australia, a CFA Charter holder, and is fluent in Japanese.

Benjamin Gray, Managing Director, Country Head – Myanmar
Ben has over a decade of experience as a financial lawyer (Baker&McKenzie, Norton Rose, Salans) with a focus on debt and derivatives. He has worked in the emerging and frontier markets of the Central and Eastern European region for many years. He has an Honors Degree in Diplomatic History and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland, Australia. He is also a CFA Charter holder.

Bertrand Villon, Director
Bertrand has over 10 years of experience in private equity and investment banking, most recently with Investcorp, where he was responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring private equity investments across a variety of industries in North America and Europe. Prior to Investcorp, he was at Rothschild in London where he was involved in a variety of M&A transactions in the retail, real estate, transport and leisure sectors. Bertrand holds an MSc in Management from HEC School of Management in Paris and a Masters in International Management from the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS).

Min Thu Aung, Vice President
Min has experience in strategy consulting, private equity due diligence, marketing and operational consulting through his experience at the Monitor Group, PwC Strategy and Deloitte Consulting. He has experience in various sectors including infrastructure, utilities, chemical, financial services and business services industries. Min graduated from Imperial College in London with a Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Management. He is fluent in Myanmar language and English.

Dino Ku, Vice President, Microfinance Team Leader
Dino has 8 years of operational microfinance experience at World Vision Myanmar and Papua New Guinea. He oversaw microfinance projects and area development programs in Myanmar and advised the PNG government on microfinance project implementation. Dino graduated from Yangon University of Distance Education with a Economics degree and holds a certificate in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University.

Douglas Barker, General Counsel
Doug has worked as an international finance attorney for more than 23 years. He worked in private practice with a renowned Japanese attorney before joining the Tokyo office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He subsequently worked with AIG Financial Products Corp. as in-house counsel responsible for Asian markets and businesses. He received a BA in Economics and History from Stanford University and a JD from the University of Oregon School of Law.

The management team is supported by a talented group of individuals spread between our offices in Myanmar and Hong Kong.
